Tornyos Borház is a family business producing excellent wines in two iconic wine regions of Hungary — the Kunság wine region and Tokaj-Hegyalja.

Csengőd Cellar
Our winery in the Kunság wine region was purchased by its current owner in 2010, when it still operated with a storage capacity of 27,000 HL. Thanks to continuous development, it has since grown into a modern winery with a capacity of 65,000 HL. Our wines, produced using reductive technology and controlled fermentation, preserve their excellent flavours and aromas as well as their fruitiness, delivering outstanding quality year after year.

Szegi Cellar
The history of our cellar dates back to the 1800s, when the family of the writer Gyula Krúdy built their own family cellar in Szegi, on the very site of today's winery. The current owner purchased the property in 2015, and in 2021 began operating the newly built modern winery while preserving the original Krúdy cellar. Our Szamorodni and Aszú specialities are made using traditional methods, then aged in oak barrels before bottling, faithfully reflecting the unique character of the Tokaj wine region.

Wine Tastings for Groups
We organise memorable wine tastings for larger groups at our cellars, where our guests can discover the world of our wines and the local winemaking traditions.
To make the experience complete, we also offer cold or hot catering upon request, so the wine tasting can serve as a true gastronomic event for corporate gatherings, get-togethers with friends, or family occasions.
We warmly welcome our guests at our cellars at a pre-arranged time.
